Decks
GstarConcrete provides to draw the decks with management of all levels belonging to the same drawing. By defining the origin of several decks, the software, is able to generate the entire model with the main calculation programs (that can be applied, for instance, to plate, foundation slab, slab and balconies with deviation).
Pillars
Drawing and management of the pillars with several automatic levels of numaration. The section can be rectangular, circular, or generic “polyline”. The dynamic preview allows to choose the fixed threads and the insertion point from the figure. The total control of graphic features provides for any combination of visualized graphical elements, at anytime during the work, on single elements, or extended selections. The label with number and dimensions of the pillar is, finally, equipped with covering graphic.
Slab
The slab-floor field, the lightened part of the slab, can be drawn with less or more detail, as a framework, as axes rafters, or like detailed lightened parts, until any single brick, even in automatic mode. Further types of structure that can be drawn with the SW are: slabs with embedded elements, reinforced precast elements, predalles philigranes, slab with Plastbau, with embedded lighting elements, full, straight and comb. By means of the function "Beam", the user creates it, and modifies automatically the lightenings geometry. It is possible to set up the low embedded element placed on the slab-floor intrados.
Hole
The hole is a polyline that is able to automatically modify the slab-floor framework position and to generate the ring beam. The compute recognizes the hole, and then removes the relative amount of concrete. It can be rectangular, circular (for pipes and holes scale) or a polyline with any shape. Automatic management of the symbols for the shadows in the hole.
Beams
The beam is recognized and enumerated automatically from the program as free space between the embedded elements casted on the pillars. The beam can be also inserted singularly with a rectangular section, “T” or “L” with intrados or extrados alignment, even with the offset. The numeration is assigned for girders or spans.
Export
The foundations and the decks can be exported to the main calculation programs (directory available on www.gstarconcrete.com) thus obtaining the complete model. The various decks are aligned in plant through an origin definition on each level.

GstarConcrete is a program for drawing, quickly and practically, any reinforced concrete structure; currently it is compatible with GstarCAD 2018-2026, AutoCAD 2010-2026 FULL / AutoCAD 2010-2019sp1 LT, ZWCAD 2018-2026. It was designed and developped with the technical contribution of the construction protagonists. The philosophy of the program is that to keep anything unchanged, especially what is related to the starting workflow and the layout carachteristics, without any rigid scheme to follow. Finally, it is embedded with some series of simple and powerful tools to get high quality and professional drawings, thus reducing drammatically the production time.
GstarConcrete uses dynamically all CAD objects and commands (for example: by editing a bar text, as you usually do with your CAD, anything will change in the drawing thereafter. in real time!). The "dialogue boxes" of the program were created according to a self-training principle, becoming for the user, a guide and a manual.
GstarConcrete uses only CAD primitive objects (polylines and texts) making them "smart". As a consequence, it is possible to apply all CAD commands to GstarConcrete objects: anyone who is already able to use a CAD, handles GstarConcrete as well.
GstarConcrete automatically manages all parameters related to the plotting scale (text, dimensions, hatches) and, for what concerns all possible other changes, it generates, in real time, continuous updates, even when the scale of work, in use, changes as well.
All windows include training real previews, making the use of the program intuitive, like a guide or a training manual.
Innovation ... without drastic changes
All objects, created by GstarConcrete are "smart" texts and polylines. Furthermore all GstarCAD commands are applicable. By simply editing a text, all related items are updated in real time. Similarly, by stretching an edge everything is automatically updated. Finally the drawing, once modiefied or open with the SW, will still be a DWG file, printable and readable by any kind of CAD.
Simplicity
All GstarConcrete functions are simple and immediate: complex proceedings would result in "constrains" to the drawer, producing the common idea that "it's quicker to do it manually ...".
Usability
The colors of the "fields", the "notes", and anything else, contained inside these easy-to-use "dialogue boxes", with real previews, were projected to make GstarConcrete an intuitive program.
Opening
All settings can be saved as XML files, and shared among all people of the same work team, thus bearing common practical working standards. GstarConcrete is an "open" program, able to communicate through XML format, with any calculation program, obtaining executive layout schemes ready for printing.
